tax cut expiration

I've been trying to figure out how much more, percentage-wise, I need to plan on for our retirement budget when the Bush tax cuts expire. I've seen 5K more per year--but would that be 10K for a couple? I've only been adding 5K when I Firecalc, but perhaps that is insufficient.

Depends on what bracket you are in. Here's a link I posted in another thread, you put in your info and it shows the difference between 3 scenarios, full expiration, Dem. plan and Rep. plan
