Anyone know any good no-load tax-efficient balanced funds?

Also, does anyone think the bottom will fall out of the stock market right after the 2008 elections....if so, what would be your strategy for rebalancing your asset allocations at that point?

You could try the Vanguard Tax-Managed Balanced fund

https://flagship.vanguard.com/VGApp/hnw/FundsSnapshot?FundId=0103&FundIntExt=INT

or, How about the T Rowe Price Tax Efficient Balanced fund

http://www.troweprice.com/common/indexFundFacts/0,0,ticker=PRTEX,00.html?scn=Choose_a_Tax-Efficie&rfpgid=8008

These should fit the bill...

Yes, The stock market will crash in 2008 just after Jesse Jackson is elected.

The strategy for rebalancing would be to move everything to the Cayman Islands fund at that point.
