My husband is retiring in a month and I will work two more years. I anticipate some of the issues mentioned in the article.

Great article and on point. I plan to retire sometime between 7/1 - 12/31 this year (after working FT 38+ years). DH will follow in 5/2016. He is encouraging me to go sooner rather than later. I take care of my mom and plan to continue and will most likely be the one to step up to assist his aging parents as well. I will be able to do more around the house and yard to help out, but I have LOTS of activities I want to pursue hiking, backpacking, cycling, kayaking, skiing and some travel. I'm trying to prepare him now for the amount of play time I hope to have. Right now he doesn't have an issue with it.....but I still am concerned.
