Wow, I can't believe it's been 11 years since I posted our first net worth post! I haven't posted in 4 years and I figured it was time.

4 years later, wife still not working (taking care of elderly parents etc), and our net worth is now over $800k, or an increase of about $375k. Got a new job two years ago with an $18k pay increase (now $138k base). I got out of the markets in the early COVID days, and got back in when they were a bit lower, which helped our net worth a ton. Net worth is actually about $950k with the increase in our home equity, but I'm not factoring that in as I don't see us moving.
We're 43 years old now, and our target of 50 is seeming a little out of reach, with how much things have increased in price. We'll see...
