Yes Nords, I just got back online and read this - my current voluntary recall (recruiting) might end up like that one (only looking at 10 years - not his 28!) Reserve duty allows you to be flexible - and you really are there by choice as a reservist. My 20 year letter is safe, so if I get fed up, sayonara! (but the handcuffs are pretty soft and fuzzy!)
