If you have asked for email notifications, if you expect any private messages, or if you night ever get an email from anyone else on the forum, please go to "Profile", then account settings, and verify your email address.
These aren't given to anyone, aren't available to anyone except BMJ and myself (and we don't particularly care to send junk email!), but when anyone sends a private message, or you get notified of a message in a topic you are following, or you forget your password, an email is sent to your email address in your profile.
I am getting dozens of messages a day bouncing to me, becuase someone sends a PM to someone, and their email notification address is wrong.
At any time, there are a handful of messages in the queue addressed to addresses at yaho.com, yahoo.cm, msm.com, and other obviously incorrect addresses.
(We finanally had to turn the feature off on the old server when the bouncing messages got close to 100 a day.)
