The portfolio changes tab in F-calc (second from the right) allows users to enter values for lump sums to be added to their portfolios at specified future dates.

My question is how this feature ties in to the portfolio allocation data in the "your portfolio" section/tab. Specifically, I am trying to find out whether the money that gets added on the specified future date is considered to be allocated, as of the receipt date, according the allocation percentages in the Portfolio tab.

For e.g., let's say my current portfolio is currently set to 60% stocks, and I enter an expected addition of $100K to my portfolio on 1/1/2025.

Does F-calc assume that $60K of the $100K is added to my stock total, and $40K added to my cash/bond total?

Thanks in advance for any insight into this that the board can provide.
