Hi,
According to the American Rescue Plan anyone who was unemployed in 2021 is eligible for the second lowest silver plan within ACA. The NY website (NY State of Health) does not reflect this credit when I enter my information. Further, any customer rep I speak to have no idea what I am talking about.

Has anyone been able to receive this credit in NY?

Thanks

Have you read this page (see the very bottom of it):
https://info.nystateofhealth.ny.gov/AmericanRescuePlan#anch_6

Which links you to this page/document:
https://info.nystateofhealth.ny.gov/sites/default/files/Fact Sheet for UIB.pdf

I would point the customer rep to these pages, if they aren't aware of them.

It looks like the unemployment information is captured during the actual application process.

In NY if your income is 200% FPL or lower you would go to the Essential Plan which is free and no credit is needed or under 138% FPL which is Medicaid and is also free credit wouldn't apply to Medicaid.
