Bitcoin: Now Up 100% from 2018 Lows!

Bitcoin is now back over $6,000. Whereas people like Charlie Munger have called it "rat poison", it is in fact the best performing asset over the past 3,5 and 10 years!

People have many misconceptions about what bitcoin is and many people still view it as play money for buying drugs on the dark web which at this point is like saying the internet is only used for porn.

I would be interested in hearing people's views about it. Do you own any and if so, what percentage of your assets would you devote to investing in it?

Some people will make money off bitcoin, but it won't be me.

Another bitcoin theft of around 40 million this week is one of the reasons.

There are a lot of people who are fervent believers however.

I bought bitcoin (first time) a few weeks ago and sold just under 6000 for a nice profit. I will wait for the pullback (hopefully) to get back in and hold for the run to $65k over the next few years as a wave 3. Initial tranche will be a little less than 1% of assets followed by second tranche (on the i/ii setup) of 2% of assets.

We made money mining which is no longer profitable. When bitcoin was at it’s height we cashed one out. We are holding for now. We have made 40k and my son the brains of the operation 100k. We only invested a small amount about 6 years ago.

Nice call, It apparently traded up above $7500 this morning, before dipping down into the high 6000 range.

Wow, just noticed BTC is at $8600.00 today, up about $600.00 in the last hour or so!

I sold awhile back at $6000.00 and was waiting for a pullback. Looks like we will get back to $10,000.00 before any pullback?
