Vanguard problems fixed?

Hi,

I am finally seriously considering the switch from FIDO to VG.

Some folks here had some concerns recently with VG. I think one was in reference to MM fund. Has everything been fixed, addressed?

Any thoughts on keeping both FIDO and VG accounts. Both are guaranteed via SIPC so not sure it makes sense but different baskets for the eggs might make sense?
