I made several mistakes two days ago. But, let's just talk about this one:
I accepted RBCUJAN10.EXE . (It's a PDM.Trojan.Generic) onto my computer. Anyhow, something on Kapersky Pure turned red announcing this a was a high risk problem:facepalm:. But, because I accepted RBC.. it could only be quarantined, not deleted. So, I think I've quarantined it by running Kapersky scans about 27 times.

Anyhow, since this virus(?) was floating around on the computer for 12-24 hours, do I need to do anything more, like change all my passwords? Anything else?

Thanks

Dimsumkid and GrayHair:

Thank you both for the information. I actually feel my stress level going down--which makes those around me quite happy.

Yet another mistake. Darn, the least I could have done was spell "GrayHare" correctly. Sorry.

Go to roxio and dl the patch.

Then compare that file to the one you already have on your system. Are they the same (comparing the # of bytes is the simplest way; a better way is to run checksum on each file).

You probably have a false positive.
