Thanks for posting this, axtec. These idiots have been annoying me on both home and cell phones. Now if they would just find the mega-idiots who send the spam text messages...
Sorry to open an old thread, but I think you'll like this article published today about a robocall scam being shut down. I'm sure we've all been called by "Rachel, from Card Services".
I still receive about a dozen robocalls each week, despite being on the no call list and not giving written permission.Companies are no longer allowed to robocall you, unless they have your written permission.

Maybe not entirely, but maybe we will get fewer of them in the future...These calls will never go away.

Well, due to the urgent and important nature of the information which has to be imparted to their electorate, politicians somehow managed to exempt themselves from this legislative requirement.I don't expect this to stop. My mistake, ND doesn't have voter registration. I assumed you had joined one of the parties.Money? Who gave them money? I'm too [-]cheap[/-] LBYM to give money to politicians. I was asked when I registered to vote whether or not I'd like to register as R or D, and I get to vote in the corresponding primary; that's my only relationship with them. This almost seems like a penalty that is imposed upon us for exercising our voting rights.
