I use a Garmin watch for tracking activity and everyday use. In addition to the features requested I would also suggest including a heart rate monitor. In my experience many of the activity watches that have a built in heart rate monitor don't work well (very inconsistent) with activities like jogging/running, look for one that also allows you to connect a chest strap heart rate monitor, most of the Garmin watches have that option. I believe some phones also allow a connection to a chest strap (ANT+) heart rate monitor.
