What is the last thing you ordered from Amazon?

TP

TP.jpg

Toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, disposable masks, and a fun t shirt for DGS.

Toilet paper, paper towels, disposable face masks and baby wipes.

I fully anticipate shortages of these items in the near future, the way the case numbers around here are climbing.

While the stores do currently have some brands of TP and PT, they aren't the brands I like, and Amazon finally had my preferred brands in stock yesterday for less than a king's ransom, so I pounced.

Now if I could only find the elusive unicorn below, I would lack for nothing in this (COVID19) world! :D

Yet another kind of milk, this time almond milk, with less vitamin D than Walmart's photo of the nutrition facts shows. I think it shows 25% and it has 15%. Amazon has this problem too.

And a bunch of other stuff. I think I'm ordering V8 juice next.

Some more gopher repellent (that seems to be working since whatever was trying to dig has stopped) and a soil sifter. I want to send a soil sample to the WV extension service for testing but the ground around here has so much shale rock I'm surprised that anything grows. I figure I'll get more accurate results if I sift out all the rocks and send what's left.

I just received today 2 more garage lights (DH received 2 garage lights last week and decided he needed 2 more), 3 Echo Show 8 (grandkids love playing with ours), bag of dry cat food and some hair clips (I am getting desperate and might try to cut my own hair).

They said TP, sanitizer and wipe supplies would be sorted by the summer ...

Yeah, "they" say a lot of things! I stopped listening to "them" a long time ago! Makes for much less disappointment.

I'm surprised we haven't ordered from Amazon since early April. I guess we got tired of the Amazon waiting game.

I walked into a local RiteAid this week and scored a 12-pack of TP. A week earlier it was a 4-pack.

I noticed that BJs is increasing in-store stock of TP as well as PT (paper towels).

Ethernet over powerlines. I wanted to be able to access the Internet from my workshops in my barn... Access to my home wireless really didn't work (metal barn) and I didn't want to run a very long Ethernet cable from my house to the barn.

These work great...

Ordered a SantaMedical pulse Oximeter from Amazon.
It had the best rating, BUT only 1,000 reviews.
It was $30.

I was very tempted by the Amazon one with 8,7xx reviews as it was nearly as good.

A new canopy for our offset patio umbrella. We came home from a quick trip to Costco friday to find ours laying against the house from a quick storm passing thru. I had almost ordered one earlier this spring because it was getting a little threadbare' The 8in. long hole from it hitting the corner of a gutter made the decision easier. Now I'm hopeful this new one fits right. I never thought there would be so many types of umbrella canopies out there.

Some hot glue sticks that don't melt at quite as low a temperature as many others. I'm trying to put small TV camera/transmitters on R/C airplanes with hot glue but the problem is that with most glues the heat from the TV camera/transmitter unit melts the glue! Once airborne the passing air cools it enough but I wanted something with a better margin. I emailed a guy I know in CA who does a lot with FPV stuff and he recommended a different type so I ordered those. We'll see.

I've had similar results with the glue on the back of hook 'n loop fasteners, the glue softens at too low a temperature to be reliable.

Why not use 3M double adhesive automotive trim tape?

Thanks for the suggestion, I bookmarked it in case the other glue doesn't work.

A pair of shoes. That was in last week in February and just got them last week (~4 month wait). It was from a company in the US but the order was a product from China. If I would of known they were coming from China, I would not have ordered them.
My wife has ordered a few things since my order and has taken about 2 or 3 weeks longer to get thou.

Backpack sprayer and 2 different kinds of liquid herbicides. I have a clover and creeping charlie infestation that needs to be addressed.

While I worked on a marina in Florida. a friend bought some lights with seashells from the marina st oreto attach to his dock railing back in Indiana. The next time he visited he said, as they sat in the sun, the glue soften and every seashell fell to the ground.

Good choice! I love my cheap Roundup backpack sprayer. Here in “scorpion city” AZ, I lay down 4 gallons of insecticide around the house perimeter and on the back fence every 3-4 weeks. The backpack sprayer is great. Easy to move around and it’s easy to pump while walking and spraying.

I used to get rid of them until I learned that both are a good source of pollen for bees.
