I think I got it.....you don't enter changes in the manual entry....you enter the actual new spend. That actually makes more sense and is easier. So I got it now. Tks.

I know if you are contributor you can expand the firecal to show where to input year spend changes. And they default to -1. However, I can't get it to work properly. I tested it as an example.....ran firecal with the input that was there that included 30,000 spend. I wrote down the results...

Absolutely you can make some $ doing it...I have had a business plan for the last 4-5 years...just waiting.....I am just not sure I want to work that hard.....just enough to pay for itself and maybe a little spending $.

Interesting stories. I plan to start a doggie day care in 2 years. Have been wanting to do this for over 10 years. Don't have to make any money at it.....just cover the expenses and provide me with something to do. I can't wait !!!

Thanks, I did make a donation a few weeks ago.....but I did it from this forum, not the actual calculator site. How do you get to the "Manual Entry of Spending Changes"? Thanks so much.

It would be nice if you had the ability to add several more lines of other income or off chart spending. Just provide the option to add up to 10 or more lines of changes. And for each change, have a start and end date. Would allow more flexibility for including when mortgage is paid off, etc...

Tks I was planning to become a supporter anyway....Ilove the calculator....fun to play with and look at options. As for the other idea....I could do that....just create another column in the excel sheet.....but the problem I have is the formula's at the bottom of the excel sheet don't all...

The pension start 7 years apart. I married a young chick! But the mortage doesn't have a way to end it...I thought yuo needed two lines....one to start it and one to end it. I don't see a way to put an end date on the off chart spending. Thanks for your help.

The only issue with this is that it only leaves me with one other input for pension....I have two, one mine and one my wifes. Can you add additional lines of input? Or is there another way to handle mortgage?
