Bots = web crawlers like google and bing. We always had those, but I will look into disabling the display and believe it was disabled on the old software.

There is still work to be done on the forum view. You'll see an option to change font size in the next few days, updates to the Ignore forum function and a few more items. We're still messing with 1 and 0s. Picky folks attentive folks may notice that some of the space has been removed both...

The forum should do that automatically. It 'remembers' where you left off reading. First, however - you'll need to "Mark all forums read" link at the top of the page. When you open a thread you will be taken to the newest post that you have not yet read.

Look over to the right near the bottom of the page:

We could add some post limits e.g 10 characters minimum limit ;)

So - long explanation: On the old software, page length (number of posts) was individually configurable. Some had it set at 10 - others at 100 posts per page. This set up some problems: 1. 100 posts per page calls a lot of data and slows down the server 2. Because folks often linked to...

Depending on your blocker, cookies may also being blocked and this is a slippery slope as we use some cookies to help you navigate around the site and keep you logged in at page changes. If the site is working for you with your current settings, I would not worry about the tally.
