    Class of 2013: still kicking!

We are still here! In year 6 of ER, now 61 and 67, we are still on the right path and happy as 2 clams. DH had some more health issues. We are trying to get to NZ in 4 weeks. Tried twice before but DH once broke his foot and last year had to fight bladder cancer. All that confirmed that ER was...

    Seattle and south

We are travelling again. On Monday we will fly from Germany to Seattle (thanks to our miles in Business Class) and then drive down the coast. The plan is to meet family and friends on the way south, then see Yosemite, Kings Canyon and some other places. 24 days in total. Retirement is great.

Broken leg - swelling won't go away

Dear All, On Easter DH broke the fibula of his leg. He was fixed in surgery - no cast. With crutches he had only slight swelling, but they got worse since end of May, when docs recommended to try walking without. X-rays are ok. Docs recommend to be patient, physical therapy is ok but doesn't...

    Mini stroke - TIA anyone?

Last weekend DH probably had a mini stroke (TIA). Fortunately it all happened in front of a fire station and he was in a stroke unit asap. At first he was almost paralysed on the left side, but all symptoms went away within 90 minutes. So far no reasons could be found. He has none of the risk...
