It seems kinda simple. State your intentions regarding privacy.

If you are not willing to state your intentions and the boundaries, are we to assume the worst case situation? That one day you will mine everyone's profile information and build a marketing list and sell it?

I will not give anyone's private data to any 3rd party without your consent. The way things are setup now, no one has given consent, so your information is protected.
