Any recommendations of things to do with a 3.5 and 5 year old skiers while in Breckenridge. They will spend lot of time in ski school, just looking for ideas outside ski school, be either w/ or w/o skis on.

Thanks and happy skiing

Great tubing hills in the area. Movie theatre in Dillon (15 minutes away). Community center has great indoor pool with slides, etc. My guess is they will be so beat after ski school you won't have to worry about it.

we did tubing in frisco last year. youngest couldn't participate, but we have done in MN this year.

have you participated in dog sledding and if so think it would be appropriate for 3.5 yo? she would be able to participate per web site.

agree about wearing them out, part of the plan. was looking more so for activities on non ski days.

thanks

not sure on the 3.5 yo for dog sledding. Probably depends on the weather. Several snowmobile places nearby as well. Snow shoeing is another fun activity guaranteed to wear them out! Want to wear yourself out? Try cross country skiing with a sled that hauls the kiddies behind you. I couldn't walk for a day after that.

Dog sledding is a blast and she would probably love it especially if she likes dogs. If it's like what we did in MT, you dress like you would for skiing, and they also cover you with blankets, and you sit safely and securely on the sled while the musher controls the dogs. The kids would probably sit between your legs and it's peaceful so talking is easy, unlike snowmobiling. I'd probably opt for a shorter ride if you have different length trips available. The dogs are fun to watch and they really seem to enjoy pulling.
