This triggered a question. Are their any limits to how many times you can use COBRA? For example, you quit working, go on COBRA for 18 months, go back to work and get on the employers medical insurance, quit working, go on COBRA, etc. Can you just keep doing this or is there some limit on the total number of months of COBRA eligibility?
I'm asking because COBRA coverage, expensive as it is, could be cheaper than the state health insurance pool for those with preexisting conditions.
