Besides a friend with a boat, what is the most cost effective way to get to the Bahamas ABC islands? Who is old enough to remember the days when you could fly and stay from the east coast for $200ish dollars.

First question is what does ABC mean? Usually when talking islands it is Aruba-Bonaire-Curacao.
I see plenty of flights for under $300 but you might need to travel mid-week.
