My health insurance premium cost to me is up 15% for 2021. Since former megacorp subsidises a chunk I can't tell what the actual increase was. Honestly was expecting a higher increase due to Covid.
How did your rates fair?

Mine went up about 8% this year. Absolutely infuriating to see it rise so much year after year. It's gone up roughly 100% since I semi-retired back in 2014. I'm in Georgia, metro Atlanta.

Mine went up 21% (from 288 to 350), as I crossed an age line.

DW's remained unchanged at 217 for HDHP.

(Not ACA compliant.)

Mine went up something like $20 so less than 5%. (ACA, two ppl)

It's been discussed before here, but Covid is reducing revenues (cost to insurers) in the medical industries because so much care, both elective procedures and traditional screenings and care, is being deferred due to fear of Covid.

My megacorp medical premium stayed the same for the third year in a row. Megacorp dental went down by $1/mo.

My Under-65 retiree medical premiums went up 4.2%. For something that was nearly free back in 2010 for Under-65 retirees with 30+ years with the company, it is far from free now thanks to ACA.

Maximum yearly cost (premiums + MaxOOP) is still better than any ACA plan I were to choose (I don't qualify for subsidies), but the gap keeps closing each year. Three more years until Medicare.

My price tag was more than 100% higher to insure just me vs. what it was to insure me and wife last year with similar silver plan. I don't understand the logic behind that one.

Mine has gone up 3.5%.

This for the sum of both my share and the government's share of the full cost. This is a federal employee/retiree BCBS health insurance policy. It converted to a Medicare supplement (at the same price but with greater benefits) when I reached 65.

The least expensive ACA plan for my county went up 3.2%. The plan I chose (4th least expensive) had a premium that was actually 2.9% lower than last year's 4th least expensive. The premium of the 2nd lowest silver plan also dropped.

My Megacorp retiree insurance went up by $9 a month for the two of us, less than a 1% increase.

Since i passed 70, my medigap cost goes up every year. Age adjustment, they call it.

Mine went down 3 bucks a month. Wife's went up 68 bucks (13%)

Ours went up quite a bit, thanks to our new insurance agent. Not sure exactly what her last name is, but she apparently goes by "Irma A."
:D

Ours (well, the portion we pay) went up $2. I didn't bother to figure the percentage.

My ACA Gold plan full premium price went from $879 to $900, so only up $11.
My ACA subsidy also went up nicely at the same exact income level.
So my ACA Gold plan subsidized price actually went down from $390 to $325.

However, my Gold plan changed from a PPO to an HMO; the deductible increased $100; but the PCP/Specialist office copays went down to $10/$55 from $25/$75. The HMO aspect won't drastically affect me since all the doctors and hospitals I would use are in network. The main change is that I now have to have referrals to a specialist approved in advance. I haven't tested that process yet, but currently only use one.

I still long for those old $5 in person doctors' visits and $2 prescriptions. And I really appreciated those blue collar Ford Motor Company workers for demanding such expensive frills in times where the company wasn't so profitable.

Medicare Part D (medicines) deductibles went up about $200 to $435 for most. Many people don't even pay their deductible during a year if they have generic prescriptions.

My monthly ACA premium went up 9% so my monthly payment is now $980. High deductible too, so I won't ever use the actual plan.

Mine went from 900.00 to 1000.00 with increase of 400 per person on OOP and deductible to 8550 pp here in Las Vegas.

Ours went $60 from $1,747 to $1,807 per month or 3.4% for two of us. We go on Medicare in August, so that should result in a significant decrease even though IRMAA will add to it.

0% increase for me - And company still pays 100% of the premiums. Not sure how much longer that will be the case.
