Confused about dryer sheets

Just turned 60, and my initial thoughts where to retire at 60, of which we had worked out with our financial planner, but with the downturn of '08 I've decided to work another couple years. The thought of 'retirement' has me thinking I'd like to go sooner, but I'll see if I can stick it out to the end. I somewhat enjoy my job, making the wait easier, but I do often wonder if in the future I'll regret not going sooner.
My wife's health isn't top notch, so that's a consideration as well.
Anyway, I hope to find the time to check out the many posts that many of you have shared your thoughts on, so thanks for that!
