Hey everyone, how goes it?
I'm 57, two furry feline dependents - and want to retire at 58. Currently there's $1.1M in 15% stocks, 35% bonds (G Fund), and 50% cash (CDs, treasurys, ibonds, green stuff). It's cash-heavy because the house just sold in preparation for retiring early next year to a cheaper, sunnier area.
The $26,000 pension won’t go far, even in Florida - current expenses, including fun, are about $60,000 annually here in the Washington DC area.
