HSAAdministrators Slow?

I scheduled a billpay payment to HSA Administrators on Jan 15 for the $39 annual fee, and for Jan 23 for my 2009 contribution. Neither of these checks has been cashed. I called on the 28th, and was told that the $39 check had been posted, but it still has not been cashed. On that date, the check for the 28th "had not been received yet."

What do you think is going on?

Al, I mailed them a $39 check on 12/16 and it cleared on 12/26. No idea why they are allowing you to keep your money for so long.

It turned out that VanguardAdvantage's BillPay sent the checks to HSA Administrator's PO Box rather than their street address, so they didn't get them for a while.
