Inter-Market Analysis

Hello everyone,

As a beginning investor, I've become aware of a process called Inter-Market Analysis. As I'm sure you all would agree, the internet while an excellent resources is also extremely vast. Does anyone have a site or two that you would recommend to help with my education? It the site were to have some sort of video on the topic would be especially nice.

My first thought was the Bogelheads forum but that is probably not the place to learn about Inter-market Analysis.

I did not know what it was so I did a quick search and spent about 30 seconds scanning one source.

As far as I can tell it is simply a method to generate alpha (i.e. profits in excess of the market) by overweighting market segments, countries, sectors, etc. that appear to be cheap.

The question is how do you figure out what is cheap?
