Medicare Part G
If you are an older senior citizen and can no longer take care of yourself and need Long-Term Care, but the government says there is no Nursing Home care available for you, what do you do? You may opt for Medicare Part G.
The plan gives anyone 75 or older a gun (Part G) and one bullet. You may then shoot one worthless politician.
This means you will be sent to prison for the rest of your life where you will receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating and air conditioning, cable TV, a library, and all the health care you need. Need new teeth? No problem.
Need glasses? That’s great. Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, sex change, or heart? They are all covered!
As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do now!
And, who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you they can’t afford for you to go into a nursing home. And you will get rid of a useless politician while you are at it. And now, because you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any more income taxes!
Is this a great country or what?

You mean you can get a sex change operation in there after age 75? I wonder if there are these to choose from after 75 (male/female/neuter/transgender)??

If this Medicare Part G is implemented I predict the country will soon have no politicians! The term "worthless" will of course be at the discretion of the Part G plan holder.

Somehow I missed this gem.:)
Based on my DF'S life and his political interests and perception of current events this is funny. Let's say he became more polarized in his views. Much more polarized. To the point where other folks in assisted living with his same views asked for him to stop and go with others.

We might see interesting times.:sly:

LOL. This sentiment is so universal the thread doesn't even stand to get closed.

This reminds me of an old Alfred Hitchcock episode. A guy embezzled $20K (I forget the actual amount but it was a modest amount at the time) and immediately admitted it but because he wouldn't tell them what he did with the money he went to jail for 20 years.

The show ends 20 years later with the guy sitting on a luxury cruise ship sipping a drink. Someone asks where he got his money and he says "Do you know what $20K earning compound interest in a bank for 20 years comes to?"
