At the recommendation of several here, I've been listening to the "Money for the Rest of Us" podcast, and also bought his new book last month (same name as podcast).

He mentions a couple of spreadsheets in the book: https://moneyfortherestofus.com/tools/

and I've been playing with the Retirement Spending Spreadsheet. It seems to be a nifty tool for determining SORR, because you can choose a drawdown year early in your retirement, and play with how long it will last. Seems to be a frequently discussed topic around here.

He even has a video to help those of us who need a little coaching for using it.

Just thought I'd share!

I've been listening to David's podcast since he started. Good content, but the spreadsheet is rudimentary at best.

Meh. Sounds like a way for David Stein to make some money.

I'll take bogleheads.org over any individual.

Agree about the spreadsheet as it simply calcs return and drawdown without consideration for other income sources or anything else. I don't really see how it is useful.:ermm:
