need help choosing a new digital camera

Features I'd look for - optical view finder in addition to LCD display, ability to use AA batteries, image stabilization. Zoom at least 3X, small speaker to hear movie sound during playback.

I've been happy with the Lumix branded cameras with image stabilization. The one I bought was $50!

Those are by Panasonic. I got mine for $200 two years ago, but it is dissapointing. next one will be a Canon Sureshot...........
