Hi, I just found this site. I am 67 years old and have been retired about 5 years. I live off SS, my portfolio, and a little part time work.
I am interested in others ideas of how to manage your money to keep up your lifestyle and not have to worry about running out early.
My current portfolio consists of 45% equities, 30% bonds, and 25% cash/CD's.
The cash CD portion would carry my living expenses for 5 years if necessary.
