This photo of Lena in 1972 was recently unearthed:
+1! Beautiful...That is a great photo Al, she is lovely.
I have excellent facial recognition. I can see her same look as today in the eyes, and around the mouth.
Ha
That's interesting -- did you see the story on face blindness on 60 minutes? They had some people who were super-recognizers, and they could recognize famous people from their childhood photos. On the street they recognize faces of random people (e.g. waitress) that they saw in the past.
So here's a test: can you find Lena in these photos:
These are wonderful photos, but very hard for me to pick. Here are my picks for Lena, though I am not at all sure. Top photo(youngest): girl 2nd from L, 1st row. Middle photo: Center girl in 2nd row from front, in cardigan over jumper and leggings. Last photo:1st row, 3rd from R, blue v-neck over light blue tunic. That's interesting -- did you see the story on face blindness on 60 minutes? +1. I gave each photo a good once over, and wasn't convinced I could pick her out in any of them. Guess I'm "face blind" too...I'm very close to "face blind", and this 'assignment' proves it. I've spent a good 5 minutes going back and forth through the photos. I can eliminate a few of the girls, but cannot isolate which ones are Lena.
My guesses--
photo 1, second row from the bottom, first child on the left.
photo 2, second row from the bottom, fifth child from the left
photo 3, first row, third child from the right
Sorry, all of those are incorrect....
