So our supplies are getting down there and while I’ve picked up some along the way having troubles locating:

  • Hand sanitizer, prefer individual wrapped wipes but haven’t seen those in ages.
  • Cleaning wipes like Clorox wipes

Also, seems like looking at labels there are different alcohols along with percents. For instance, ethanol vs isopropyl. One better than the other?

Anyone have any online resources for any of this?

Got a big refill bottle of hand sanitizer this week at Walmart curbside with our groceries. No luck yet on wipes.

I do have a medium bottle coming shipped from Target of some no-name brand with bad reviews I suppose (https://www.target.com/p/defendr-anti-bacterial-hand-sanitizer-16-fl-oz/-/A-80117190) just hoping for somethign better.

And for wipes. I know it is probalby a "waste" of wipes, but our main getting out of the house these days is disc golf and about a third of the holes when not close enough for a gimmee the disc does go in the basket, where we use a wipe on it. But that time is quickly coming to an end if we can't find anymore wipes. One individually wrapped wipe usually lasts for a round.

FDA issued a warning a while ago about many made in Mexico brands of hand sanitizer being contaminated with wood alcohol (methanol). This can still cause a problem with external use.FYI

all sorts of disinfecting wipes in stock, including Chlorox, on Amazon.

The stuff is starting to be available again at my local grocery store.

Hmm, not that I see. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=clorox+d...1120011&sprefix=Clorox+,aps,191&ref=sr_nr_n_5 Shows a few Clorox brand ones but when you click on them they are actually out of stock.

The Lysol ones? $80 for 4 bottles of wipes! The tub of towels or something like that...doesn’t say if it is disinfecting or not.

Maybe I’m just missing stuff.

sorry but at the time i replied these were showing as in stock. maybe sold out in the interim??

I’ve ordered them from Amazon, but they go quickly. The key is to check periodically throughout the day and order them immediately if available, otherwise they will sell out.

I’ve done this a couple of times. The first time I was able to get an order in a couple of days, but the last time it took me around 5 days before they had inventory.

If you want hand sanitizer sprays, Bath and Bodyworks has them online. They used to show out of stock frequently, but lately they seem to have plenty of supply. Some of it's 68% alcohol, some is 70%. Not the cheapest around but smaller sizes are great to carry with you.

I've seen Lysol wipes occasionally available at Quill.com.

I have not been able to get wipes for months. Luckily, I had a stock pile.
What I have been doing lately is make my own with paper towels or reusable handiwipes and diluted Clorox bleach water, which I either use in a bowl for cleaning around the house or put in a spray bottle from Home Depot. Do be careful about getting it on fabric, but it works when you don't have anything else.
I also have a spray bottle with 70% alcohol. So I trade off.
Luckily, sanitizer has been readily available again, both gel and liquid.
