Was offered to return for another limited hour part time employment arrangement with my former city government agency. This time with no flexibility on days and hours. Tues, Thurs, and Fridays. No thanks.
Going to do some consulting in the future , but have a one year ban on
issues involving this city government.
Got final pay. However, 2 mo. ago I requested to view my personnel file ( some outrageous accusations were made by a convicted slumlord who is politically connected , in the year I first retired). Personnel records div said sure, no problem. 6 weeks later, they said " It's in boxes from our 2 relocation's, will call you". Personnel records are actually trustworthy folks, but so far , no luck.
The city will get back the equipment , phone and ID when they produce the records for examination. No one has bugged me at all so far.
