About 10 years back while at Target I interviewed at Best Buy - the chief of the section had a stuffed doll of the pointy-haired boss on his desk...I was sitting there staring at it....wondering...I asked who gave it to him...he mentioned his staff had given it to him as a gag gift and he thought it was funny and cool...after about 30 minutes of back and forth I realized it wasn't a gag..I said a silent thank you to the staff, one of whom looked like Wally, for the heads up and said I didn't think it would be a good fit...
