I am an RN & worked part time for five years before retirement . I worked in Outpatient Surgery Centers & Endoscopy clinics on a Per Diem basis . It is fast paced but a lot less stressful than working in major hospitals . The pay is good and you can name your hours.
Another idea is Home Health Nursing . You could also think outside the box . When I finally called it quits I started selling on ebay . I first sold things from my house and slowly progressed to my niche ( dresses & business attire for 30-40 year old women ) . It keeps me mentally engaged without setting an alarm clock & wearing scrubs .
