Well, I just discovered that "my" squirrel likes sunflower seeds with Gourmet Collection McCormick Ground Cayenne Red Pepper.

I have read that if a squirrel is hungry enough they will eat the peppered seed. They might not like it as much, but they will eat it. And the birds might not be happy with hot pepper in their little birdie eyes.

This was a special, one off, test. I'm concerned about bird eyes too so there was no risk to them.

There are a whole bunch of robins in my yard today.
