A lunch time talk at the City Club today by Eric Dishman from Intel. He discusses a number of interesting ideas for caring for an aging population and shares his research and observations. He believes that the majority of falls in the elderly population are caused by medication mix problems and muscle mass problems.
The audio can be downloaded or listened to from the website. The 1st 5 minutes or so are intro and encouraging membership in the City Club so may want to FF a bit.
I listened to this on my way back from the coast this evening as it was broadcast on my local PBS station and found it quite interesting.
