I have a neighbor whose mother was Korean, father with a polish surname, born in Hawaii even though he didn't live there long. Like a true-born Hawaiian he only wears flip-flops. Anyway - he is always mistaken for Mexican descent around here and has to explain that he doesn't, in fact, speak Spanish at all.
