http://www.early-retirement.org/forums/f28/asset-allocation-tutorial-31324.html is over 500 days old and i can't post in it so i am starting a new thread.
LOL what a great job you did moderating this thread, i wish i was here when this started up.
i can figure out my asset allocation without any trouble but picking the right mutual funds (tsmi and tismi % are easy it's the other 2 or 3 funds i'm not sure about) and the % to allocate to them with MPT in mind i just can't get a handle on that.
i have read this thread 2 times and followed all the links that still exist. i found this to be very informative. unfortunately a lot of the links no longer exist. i am currently reading the http://www.investorsolutions.com/uploads/documents/Investment_Strategies_21st.pdf online book that was a link in the thread.
would there be any interest in starting this thread back up or do you feel there is nothing more to add to this?
