Having spent extended times in some desolate places their words have profound meaning.

Being away from the nitty gritty stuff, basic needs taken care of. The mind can wonder and then assmble meaining not possible while trying to make a buck and dodging traffic.

Looking at the big picture, the earth with many of denizens' picayune infighting becomes trivial. But then returning to civilzation is both welcome and soul killing.
