To Retirees, What is your effective Income Tax rate ?

It doesn't matter to me. I take out what I want and pay the man his money. I don't let the tax costs tail wag the dog.

Our rate is zero.


We collect maximum SS plus 12k from my Roth. I can earn another 11k from consulting before I pay income taxes.


I planned for this. Not well, but enough.
