Today's still life: Hermit garlic (pic)

Now tell that doesn't look like a hermit crab moved into my garlic. Maybe I should put it on my dog's head next?

Trek, you win! I've had garlic that sprouted, but never that much. I think you better plan on using it...like today! And yes, it does look like a hermit crab...

I have a sudden craving for crab fettucine with garlic sauce.

Yep, find an animal fast, because thats all that garlic is good for. Once it sprouts, its bitter. You can slice them open and take out the green part, but its still kind of nasty.

I plan to continue to let it grow and see what happens.
