Not as many people will click on an unsensational title, and advertisers pay for clicks. It's that simple.

Yeah, whenever I see a site that says "Ad" even though I'm interested in the subject, I never click. If I open a "neutral" looking site and see more than a couple of click baits - I'm outta there.
