where can i put $20,000. and make max % and keep it liquid as needed ?

i wanted to take my savings and move it into something and reroute direct deposit to it, then move money out only as needed into a checking account to make house payment and things , leaving the savings to make as much interest % as possible.

I think Emigrant Direct is offering 3.5% now for their MM acct. Better than ING at 3.3%.

I have both Emigrant and ING and they're both excellent.
There are a numer of banks offering higher interest rates for MM but you have to review their rating and min requirements.
