vug is around $121/share while vigrx is about $62, why the ETF costs so much more than the index fund?

thanks

excellent question as they both contain the same stocks.
Could it be due to the number of shares of the fund issued, vs an ETF that can grow unrestricted ?

enlighten me, never bought eft before.

It's just a number. Commission cost isn't number of share dependent anymore, dividends aren't share dependent, they are a percent. So being able to buy more or less shares based on a NAV is really inconsequential.

Meaning for $10,000 purchase, you get more shares of the ETF, and less shares of the FUND, but the return you get for example say 10% still works out to $1,000 in both cases.

Exactly.
