Well, I went to my appointment to have an attorney update my will.
Thought about cancelling until the last minute (did my own since
1976). Anyway, we came up with some real good ideas and now I have to make some decisions, but..........real progress. I give Martha credit for pushing me a bit, and I found a coupon
(for simple wills) that he had in the back of the phone book. Took
that along hoping for a discount

Nope! That's because if I had thought about it long enough on my own
I might have come to the same options. The thing is, it took the
act of actually meeting and brainstorming to get my creative
juices flowing. One thing I would not have thought of though...........
I asked him what he thought about being a co-exceutor with my
spouse. He said that was okay and he had done it. However, he
would require me to go home and MAIL him a letter requesting this.
He thought attorneys who wrote wills and just inserted their
names as exceutor/co-executor were operating on the edge of
propriety.
