Driver's License
Auto Registration
Auto Insurance
Bank accounts
Internet sales
House insurance
Homestead Exemption
Tax Freezes
Healthcare provider
Power of Attorney
State assistance
-medical (especially now)
-transportation subsidies
-state government services... legal etc
-education
-entitlements
Wills and Trusts
Personal Identification means... Licenses and other
Life Insurance (certain cases)
County registration
Weapons registration
Various permits

The list is not complete, and many items may not be applicable, but better to find out early. Some of your personal affairs will not require changes, but others will. Knowing what the law requires can prevent later problems, such as suits to recover unpaid taxes or fees or finding out that your will or trust is not valid.
Additions or personal experiences welcome.
