Hello Forum....not quite starting out, not quite ready to FIRE

Hello Forum!
First post!!! Been a silent stalker for quite some time. Mid-30s, married, one 4 year old son and another on the way . I've got the typical financial decisions I'm trying to navigate...pay off mortgage early, best asset allocation, current state of the economy impacts, returns vs. inflation, SWR for calcs, etc. but I learn more each time I log on.

One of the neatest things about this forum is we are all welcome. Age, race, socio-economic status, sex (or lack of!) is irrelevant. We all share ideas and advice that may hopefully help the other folks to make better financial (and other types) decisions. This is a been there, done that type of folks who are willing to share the lessons learned. Youngsters are welcome and now and then my 20 somethings have been known to drop in for some learning and laughs.
