HELP!!! Retiring in 4 months... putting together a things to do NOW! list.

Age 59 and will be 60 in July... living in Houston Texas.
1. I would like to go to college for FREE if possible.
2. Looking for a FREE sewing class.
3. Also looking for a book writing club or forum that I can attend.

Can you help with info on any of these that are located in Houston Texas?

Hi, I'm not in Houston but I like your #1. I don't want to pay for school either. Some have told me that there is money out there for education but I've haven't yet pursued it... Not really sure where to start.

If you're a Texas resident then UH might have (1) senior discounts on tuition or (2) free auditing of their classes.

Rice is also a hotbed of culturally-enhancing activities, but I'm not sure that free classes are among them.

Contact the colleges you're interested in and pose that question to them.

Check out fabric stores for free sewing classes.

Do a web search for Houston writing groups.

Post a few more times and you won't be confused about dryer sheets anymore.
