Hi, 52 from Central Wisconsin

Hi all,
52 years old working in a high stress I.T. job in central Wisconsin that I commute to via 61 miles one-way. I hate the grind and the do more with less attitude of my current employer. I am getting fatter with less time to do the outdoor activities I like to do, fishing, hunting, etc. I've got a lot of different investments, but I don't have a clue as to whether I'm going "good, bad or OK" with regards to being able to retire. Ideally, I'd love to retire now, but I don't know if I can or what it would take to get to where I need to be. I'll post in one of the other forums with more on this.

My DH was in a high stress IT job and commuted a fair number of miles as well. He was able to retire in 2009 and is one happy camper.
